Share with Merced Shares!

Tell us what you like to make with your summer vegetables and fruits! Here's what we like to do with almost any vegetable-greens, zucchini, carrots, you name it! Slice 'em or chop 'em and stir fry in olive oil with minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and soy sauce, Braggs Aminos or a little hoisin sauce. Yum!

  1. Since we're having a very bountiful summer full of Armenian cucumbers, the joke around our house is, "have you eaten your share of cucumbers today?" We usually slice them up in fat chunks and either put salt on them or dip them in balsamic vinegar.

I recently carved out the seeds and made a 2-inch wide "boat" and filled it with plain yogurt and sprinkled celery salt on top. Yum!
